One of the reasons that I write, in addition to being passionate about it, is because the conversations I have with Soul don’t apply just to me. In the conversation below, the voice and words are mine, but the underlying message is from Soul and always applicable to others in some way. That’s why I share these conversations.

[Me]       Good morning. Thank you for being with me

[Soul]    Where else would we be?

[Me]       Ha! True. I miss writing

[Soul]    Then write

[Me]       I put limits on myself. Judgments that hold me back. Pitiful little reasons

[Soul]    Yes. Anytime anywhere. Anytime, anywhere

[Me]       Oh, like the scene near the end of the television show Nine Perfect Strangers where Melissa McCarthy is in the restaurant writing on the waitress’s order pad. Anytime, anywhere inspiration strikes

[Soul]    Yes, you begin to see. Now you need to believe. You like this actor and scene, not because of her body of work: movies, shows, etc. It is because her role in this production is as a writer facing writing issues. You have always been attracted to writing characters. Castle, Murder She Wrote and others. Wherever the protagonist is a writer

[Me]       True. Especially mystery solving English writers 😊

[Soul]    Be one

[Me]       Maybe I try to imagine that, but see myself not measuring up, not following through, not believing that what I write has value or sounds intelligent

[Soul]    EXACTLY!

[Me]       Oh, okay…not seeing, not believing, not valuing, not trusting in myself. Thinking I must be in a certain situation for writing, but it can be anytime, anywhere. Is that why I don’t prefer to read aloud? Do I feel foolish, do I think myself and others will judge me?

[Soul]    Yes. Practice. Believe in your own voice. Shut down the other chatter, the chattering monkeys who tell you that you can’t believe in yourself

[Me]       Shut down the chattering monkeys, the Ego, the negative thoughts. Shut them down, quiet them, tell them to get in the back seat because I’m driving

[Soul]    Believe in yourself. Believe in Us. You want to channel; you want to breathe universal love and truths out to the world. Then practice, practice, practice. You falter when you worry about the opinion of others and your ego. Write, write, write! Anything. You don’t need anyone else’s approval

[Me]       What about my own?

[Soul]    We are ‘your own’! Align with us in this! That is what is stopping you. Others read it or don’t, like it or don’t, it doesn’t matter. You have your own messages to deliver, in your own voice and those that are meant to hear them will and those that are not, won’t. It’s as simple as that.

Bring light, do what you want to do, say what you want to say. Nothing is ever wrong or insufficient or non-relevant. Nothing! It all needs to be said, to be written. You don’t have to know why, you don’t have to know how it will flow out into the world, who it is meant for or what affect it will have. You bog yourself down with this, this…shit

Write how you write, write what you want to write. No judgment, no worrying about how others will see it, feel about it

[Me]       How easily habits form. Easily, quickly, sometimes without notice. Some so clearly remembered; that point of change and others that creep in unnoticed, slowly, quietly, and then one day you do notice, look back, stop, and think…when did that happen?

Did I need the ritual to write? The setting, the scene, the situation? Well, I’ll not have those particular circumstances ever again. Not the same location, or atmosphere or furniture. None of those will ever, ever be the same combination again. I just THOUGHT that they had to be. I told myself that ‘the magic’ could only strike if certain conditions were met. NOT SO! Anytime, anywhere

[Soul]    Review your earlier affirmations. Is that what you affirmed? NO, maybe you’re just not there yet, maybe you believed that ‘this is it’ and there is no more to come? That you and the conditions have reached their pinnacle?

No! You just started to believe that, to accept it as being ‘as good as it gets.” LOL another movie about a writer, with Jack Nicholson. He changed, he transformed.

Write, write, write. Start with writing your movie, your book, your chapters, your life. SHE BELIEVED SHE COULD SO SHE DID! You know this. We know this.

Move on, move forward, be the great writer that you know that we are. Believe your beautiful path is laid out before you. It will light up like an airplane runway. You won’t be able to miss it, we will show you. Just Believe

[Me]       Just Believe!

[Soul]    Do you see for you that this has been an issue before? Many times, you’ve blocked yourself. It is time to let go of the thoughts, deeds, and beliefs that no longer serve you. Now is your time to fly. To live the life, you have imagined. Do not waste any moments, minutes, seconds, or years anymore because you didn’t believe. Now is the time. NOW is your time. Set us free to the unknown, the unlimited. Be Open, be intrigued, BE FEARLESS.

(It is admirable to be conscious of what happens in your life: your thoughts, habits, actions, words, etc. But it is very important to complete the exercise of observating by letting go of beliefs that don’t serve you.) Watch your thoughts, raise your vibration, raise expectations. Dream, Dream, Dream. Nothing is impossible, nothing is off limits. Trust, have Faith, Believe that the world is your oyster. The Earth is your playground. Expand, grow, love yourself like you love others

[Me]       Holy cow, does the condition of my finger (diagnosed as a cuticle infection) have anything to do with my cousins’ infection? Was I thinking about infection and caused it? BOOM!

[Soul]    Maybe. Now do you see the lesson? The example? How powerful you are? Now, will it away, believe it away now. Lesson seen; point taken

[Me]       Yes, lesson seen; point taken. I affirm that my body is in excellent health. It is so incredible, so wonderful and satisfying to know how excellent my health is

[Soul}    Yes!
